Under the regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the ‘responsible person’ must carry out a fire safety risk assessment and implement and maintain a fire management plan. For the purposes of fire safety, a responsible person is any person who has some control over the premises (ie the employer, owner, managing agent, site manager).

Fire Safety Risk Assessments

We will visit your premises and carry out a visual inspection and provide you with a comprehensive fire safety risk assessment. Included as part of the assessment is an action plan and timeline for remedial works and actions which we can work with you to achieve.

Emergency plans

The Fire Safety Order requires that you have an emergency plan for dealing with any fire situation. The purpose of the emergency plan is to ensure that the people in your premises know what to do if there is a fire and that the premises can be safely evacuated. Your emergency plan should be based on the outcome of your fire safety risk assessment.

Programmed fire safety compliance audits can be arranged to meet the needs of your business.

Servicing and maintenance of fire safety systems and equipment

We can also arrange servicing and maintenance of fire alarm and detection systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers through our trusted third party contractors.
